Ouch. Well for me that means my recent decision to purchase the 200-500VR has been vindicated. I’m sure the 500PF will perform very well, but around here I need f4 for almost all my BIF shooting so f56 was never going to work for me anyway. I’d rather put this kind of money towards the 180-400.
