Great shot Joshua !
The horizon is a bit disturbing....

Thank you, Werner. The horizon is what it is. It shows a little bit of bulge in the center since the bulge is real. It is more noticeable because of the pano. The center area has been pushed upwards for many, many thousands of years due to the upward movement of the magma chamber underneath. Even the plateau to the left is tilted upwards towards the center.

The wave, it is! Well captured, Werner!

I did a double-take when I saw this because she looks like Natalie Wood!

I could see the resemblance after you mentioned it. Thank you!

I made a few panos here and posted a similar one previously. For this one I waited until the steam/smoke came out of both Bromo in the foreground and Semeru in the back. However, when I stitched the images together it shows a severe distortion and gaps in both lower corners. Because of that I edited another pano that I ended up posting but without any steam activities from both send-active craters. I did some editing and fixed the problem yesterday and now here is the pano that I intended to post. They are similar and this one is a tad wider. Thank you!

Looks magical, Joshua!

Thank you very much, Jim!

Wow! Stunning! Just an amazing image and composition!

Joshua - is that entire area under cloud cover an enormous caldera with smaller calderas within?

Thank you, Stott! Yes, that is cloud or thick fog that started accumulating in the evening before as soon as the sun went down. The smallish open caldera where steam comes out is called Bromo and the dormant one to its right side is Mt Batok. The tall shield volcano in the back is Mt. Semeru. And you may be right that those smaller calderas, a few of them are active and spewing gas/steam, are within a humongous caldera that became dormant. The thick fog is more a weather phenomenon and not related to the volcanic activities, I believe.
