If I owned the MC-11 I wouldn't not get the MB V at this time. And if I can BIF (larger bierds) with the MB I have no doubt with the MC-11.....and I didn't realize until looking at EXIF now as I type that I had the 1.4TCiii on the DOii.

Thanks for the update...saves me some money for now. Now that I've gotten used to the few limitations it has, I've been more and more happy using the 400DOII with the MC-11 on the A9. Also adapting my wider lenses and my 100L macro has been great. This has given my Canon lenses some new life and I'm now seriously considering selling my 1DX2 while the used prices are still decent. That would leave me with a lot of Canon glass and no Canon body Hard to imagine it would come to that looking back a year ago...
