Re: Manual Focus Nikon Glass

Well, the other day I said I had posted my last Fuji X-Pro2 image with Nikon glass. Well I guess that was fake news

For the time being, I am going to hang on to it for certain lenses. Particularly the lenses with slow aperture that are hard to manually focus on the Df. The EVF, focus peaking, electronic shutter, etc are just too handy for those.

So, I took it out tonight along with the Nikkor Reflex 1000mm f/11 and tried a shot of the moon. I wanted to get one more full/near full moon before the weather turns hot and humid. Even tonight the atmosphere was a little noisy. You could see the waves in the air.

Shot below with the X-Pro2, ISO 250, 1/125sec, electronic shutter, 10s timer. 1500mm effective focal length.

EDIT: Updated the image with zero crop full view. This one processed in a trial copy of Capture One. Giving that at try as an alternative to Lightroom.
