Hi, just put in an order with CameraQuest today. I have a Zeiss 50/1.4 ZF that I like a lot, but wide open it is a little too funky even for my taste. Next door is my 35/2 ZF which is an all 'round wonderful lens. I don't know how the 40 will fit between them, but if the 40 is as sharp as the 35 at comparable apertures I just might sell both the 35 and the 50. That would give me a kit of 21 VF.2, 40 /1.2, and 100 ZF.2. I might even slip in my somewhat neglected 28/2.8 AIs Nikkor.
I think I heard mention here that the 40/1.2 is more like 43mm. Does anyone have an opinion on this?
