I've wanted so badly to do spring photos, but we had such a dry winter that things look anything but spring-like around here. I still managed a few shots.
The images with the pink flowers are kind of interesting - I took Sylvie to this place where I know these flowers grow to do photos. They are SO stunted and awful this year due to the dry winter. I ended up swapping in flowers from photos I took of them 2 years ago when they were amazing. I had gone there in late February and photographed a little white wooden crate in the flowers with the idea of using it as a newborn composite for Sylvie. I knew the flowers would be gone by the time she was born, so that was the plan. Long story short, she was whisked away to the NICU 3 hours in Phoenix at a day old where she spent her first 2 weeks of life and eventually had open heart surgery at 3 months old. I never did do that composite. It was nice being able to use the flowers I photographed for her before her birth in images of her now as a healthy, almost 2 year old.
And one of big sister, Camille next to the cherry trees in our yard!
