If you look at the comparison with the Nikon 105/1.4E the two lenses are similar in size particularly if you remove the lens hoods. For most indoors shots and even outside in the shade I don't use lens hoods.
There is a large difference in designing f/1.4 glass for 85mm and 105mm and if you are seriously into portraits/weddings this should be a great lens. I have not found any specs regarding weight. The Nikon 105E is 985gms is largish but being a squat design the ergonomics work well. I suspect this will be the same with the 105 Art.
The 105 Art should be a superb lens in the FE mount and recently the AF issues are no longer an issue with the latest iterations. If the lens comes in under 990gms it will be great and leave off the monstrous lens hood. Ergonomically with the Nikon 105E at 985 gms I have no issues for shoots
