Canon 1.2/55 SSC Aspherical on A7r2, all at F1.2





































A few observations, as this lens is new to me.

This lens has very high contrast wide open and is very sharp in the central area. There really isn't any 'glow'. I often thought I'd accidentally stopped down, but hadn't!

It purple fringes significantly wide open, better at F1.4, and pretty much not at all at F2. These samples have not been defringed.

Significant LoCA.

Bokeh is harsh, just the way I like it.

Onion rings are visible (in the samples posted next).

Vignetting is quite mild.
