Christmas gift to myself
Now tht Sony's A7Riii is lowering prices of the A7Rii, I bought one by a good price.
One of the first test shots with the new Sony A7R2. Rainy day, natural light.
Nikkor 300mm f2.8 ai-s EDIF + tripod, ISO 800, wide open at 1/800s. Just 20% of the pixels (8.5/42.2MP).
Too short time to a complete evaluation, but this sensor is amazing me and the ease of MF focusing is revealing. Bad point: battery life is ridiculous, and I am using just MF, plane mode, etc, etc. Need to buy 2 more batteries for a day long shooting, for sure!
