Hi Herb, this owl was not baited when I took the shot. There was baiting in the area but I personally did not bait them. I would need to put the bait on my head to make an owl come at me like that.
Also ethics is a personal thing, it's like preaching a religion. If you think a photo is unethical to your liking, it is more polite not to comment IMO because you don't know the circumstances and the facts
