What's with the dot matrix in the 850 & A7RIII?

I love how supposedly 100% crops come out the same size. They could have at least tried to focus the Canon and Fuji.

The canon is enlarged beyond 100% to make it the same size. Af seems accurate as I checked original image.

Fuji is slightly off.
