Re: 1DX II Sensor issues

OK guys that is not good news. Apparently my 5DsR is a 1Dx2 in disguise. No wonder I got so many excellent photographs out of it

Anyway here are my cleaning attempts in chronological order, so you can see the result from using the butterfly. This is after about 17,000 actuations since I got it new in may 2016. Since then, I've only performed a quick butterfly cleaning once or twice. It's never had a wet clean. I frequently change lenses, outside and in, following common sense lens change guidelines.

1. Before cleaning, DeHaze +100%, Blacks -50:

2. After Arctic Butterfly cleaning attempt #1, ISO100 - f/32 - DeHaze +100%, Blacks -50:

3. After Arctic Butterfly cleaning attempt #2, ISO100 - f/32 - DeHaze +100%, Blacks -50:
Note the smeared oil spot top right

4. After Arctic Butterfly cleaning attempt #3, ISO100 - f/32 - DeHaze +100%, Blacks -50:

5. After Arctic Butterfly cleaning attempt #3, ISO100 - f/32 - DeHaze/Blacks back to neutral:

So at f/32 the spots are quite visible in clear skies or other plain subjects. However, at f/16 and lower it's almost unnoticeable.

6. After Arctic Butterfly cleaning attempt #3, ISO100 - f/16 - DeHaze/Blacks back to neutral:
