At last the 5.8cm f1.4 arrived from Japan, and, for my delight no tax was charged!
Sometimes the Customs of the corrupt Brazilian government leave us alone!


After a truly easy ai conversion (for some here this is blasphemy!), the debut shot:

D610 + Nikkor-S Auto 5.8cm f/1.4 wide open. Mirror image flipped horizontally.

Have I already told you guys that this thread is just for grey/white bearded old farts?
This is my oldest lens, some 3 years older than myself!



And a B&W version of the ai'd lens mounted in my D610, with another oldie, the 55/1.2 wide open:

V1 + FT1 + Nikkor-S.C 55mm f1.2 aiŽd, wide open.
Some grain added over the already grainy V1's ISO 800 shot.
