Both images of Lilly were taken with the GM 85mm f/1.4 lens. The low setting sun was deliberately included in the first image. Yes, the contrast is relatively lower because of the flare but the results, at least to my eye, are pleasing to her complexion. The second one was shot in a portrait format and the actual sun was put put outside the frame although the surrounding rays were still pronounced. The flare was practically gone from the image and the contrast improved.
