This is an image from my first walk with a new Opteka 15mm. I haven't yet decided about keeping it or not. I believe this was shot at f/8, ISO 100, and about 1/400. I am not sure where I placed focus.
The lights in the sky to the left and right of the sun are not flare--the sun was creating those very strong lights from reflections on clouds. There was significant barrel distortion, especially visible at the horizon line of the land mass. I corrected it manually in DXO OpticsPro 11. Also, I had to go through four copies of the lens to get this one.
