No it doesnt.
As far as I could tell the left and right point extension was pretty much identical between 6d and 6d2.
I think that somebody measured it 12.5mm vs 14.5mm
That's not much, but the 6D AF is generously placed for the 1/3 and 2/3 positions... visually at least, this is only "almost" for the 6D2.
