Re: Sony FE Images Thread

Do you ever go to a place, are very excited just to be there, get the photos you think you wanted .... and then not process them for like ages and ages ? That's me to a T. I seem to enjoy everything about the process from planning to execution, but when it comes to processing I procrastinate like crazy !

Anyway after processing maybe a dozen at most from this 4-5 day trip into the mountains of Zhejiang, China, to visit ancient villages, I've now got stuck in 6 months later.

To start off with some of the village of Xi Keng itself, way up there away from civilisation !

All A7rii and Zeiss Loxia 21mm.

Bamboo and tea are the main crops of the village but they grow all of their own vegetables too of course. Every bit of the bamboo is used, leaves after they are stripped and the stems of course (for use in construction and for food).

One of the larger farms higher up.

One of the typical homes in the village - tiny, cramped and squeezed in amongst all the others. Notice how the concrete slab to enter the home is built onto the mountain side.

They must love their neighbours ! Two homes - one shared entrance. Probably close family as it would be typical to extend a home this way for maybe a son and his new wife.
