Hi Glen! I'm jealous..B.C is absolutely beautiful! One of the most memorable trip I've taken was the ferry ride from Tsawwassen to Victoria. The ferry passed through several islands and I remember seeing bald eagles from the ferry. Alas, my longest lens was a 105mm so they were all pixelated I'm looking forward to your wildlife photos.
BC is, indeed, a gorgeous place, and I feel very fortunate to have the chance to live here. I, too, have seen a few bald eagles flying overhead since we arrived, and I am hoping to start capturing some of them in photos, along with other birds, deer, smaller mammals, and maybe even some humpback, grey, or killer whales, seals, etc. I don't yet foresee myself heading out to photograph bears or cougars, but who knows?
In the meantime, here another set of images from the Canadian prairie, this time highlighting the vast flatness of the midwestern landscape.
