I normally only photographer pre-professional and professional dancers for this series, but Jordan Matter's "Tiny Dancers" inspired me to give it a try with these two girls. The smaller one is just 10 years old, the other girl just turned 13. They couldn't do as much as my usual dancers, and needed more direction, but they still turned out pretty good and we all had a good time.
These first shots with August (13 year old) are at the garden and around The Art Institute of Chicago.
