I compared A7 UT NKIR 0.75+ vs stock A7R 2 with PCX 5000m front-end filter, using ZM 35mm 1.4. The former is defintely better than the latter particulary in the mid-frame area. The corner is even in sharpness but images from A7R 2 look better due to BSI and thus less vignetting.

Will post results of Zeiss 25mm 2.8 from A7 UT NKIR 0.75+ vs stock A7R 2 with PCX 2500mm. The differences here are even more dramatic.
