The only issue with the 12-24mm would be if it has a bulbous front element. If Sony can manage to make it take regular filters, my husband would loooove it. We already have the 24-70/2.8 GM which is a stellar copy sharp across the frame on the entire range, so a 12-24mm would be a great complement.
