I got the 400 so cheaply because someone bought it, tried it, couldn't manage it without IS and put it up for sale. Even though I already had the 400/5.6, I nailed it at his asking price so I could compare it with the one I had and then choose. It is a good bit better than the old one, so I kept it. In the end it cost me about €50 to use my trusty 400 for three years!
Hard to beat that..... I was lucky!
