Very nice color on Horsetail Falls, but the 1 tree blocking most of the rock face of El Capitan really takes away from this for me. It's a visual distraction, a clean rock face would have really made this sweet.

Can't disagree. My wife was with me and though I scouted a cleaner view, it was a tougher hike so I stuck with the easier location. Life involves compromises. I am still happy with the pic though it could have been better. Will try again tonight and may go to a different spot but unlikely I will get light like this!
