Did the photographer have the wide or tele converter lenses? Seems pointless to shoot two of the same fixed lens cameras at the same focal length.

AF on the X100s was not much to get excited about in the dark, so maybe that is why she was MFing. MF with any focus-by-wire camera is hopeless.
