Love the lens. It may be tricky handheld, especially at 300mm by the limits - ie slower than 1/300 even if you ser IBIS accordingly. It will render perhaps 1 in 3-4 shot spot on. And if something is moving, far less if you're not able to pre focus. That is when you want to use Canon and some long white L lenses, they're great for that. But this lens produces more punch than most. And for a shot like this, something like 150-175mm wide open, you'll get 2 out of 3 perfect. Just checked, 1/90 sec.
