Thank you very much, Roberta! Your name came up while we were there. Would you be interested in joining an FM trip to Bosque in the first weekend of December 2017? It would be awesome if you could do it.

I would love to go back to Bosque. Will definitely try and make it if I can.

I can relate to the environmental shots. When I was there the birds were far away for the 500mm so most of my shots were of the environmental type as well.

Thank you again, Roberta! I noticed that the refuge management starts out to "harvest" the field in the strip closer to the loop path/outlook first. So, the birds would be closer to the spectators/photographers earlier in the season. Hence the first week of December would be more promising, so I hope.

Yowza!! Great set, Joshua...you done yourself and NM proud here.
Folks will marvel at the beauty and most will be willing to overlook some of
the company you chose to keep. Had to peek twice at that 1st shot, as
it looks like the sun's beginning to rise...IN THE WEST Really like the 2nd
as it's tough to get that spacing AND a perfect backdrop. Good job, buddy.

Will, thank you for your kind words, buddy! Doing photography there was a part of the fun and you know what the other parts are, right ? Ii am looking forward to the next trip already.

Excellent work on these, Joshua. Hard to beat the combination of plentiful birds and that magic Bosque color.

Thank you very much, Vic! We met a few years back at Bosque and let's get together again this year then.
