GFM has NEVER been profitable during its very short existence. They were living on significant cash injections from investors https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/gameface-media-inc#/entity, but they had never made a profit on their actual operations. This wasn\'t a hiccup. It was a complete failure to understand the business they were operating. That or gross mismanagement. Probably a combination of the two.
