Stolen Nikon 500mm, eBay, Paypal, FM, and a warning!
I paid for this via direct-bank transfer. I usually don\'t use credit cards, but may just pick one up for these kind of purchases.
Spent another hour on the phone with paypal today. It\'s a huge mess now. They only *today* have they linked the 2 claims together, after telling me they needed a police report for my claim against the eBay seller. I said I didn\'t have one, to use the information they had to settle the first claim against me. After 30 minutes on hold, they came back online and said \"we shouldn\'t have settled the first claim against you. You need to open an appeal.\". Great. Most unfortunately, I have to re-involve my buyer, and he\'s now hassled with this all over again. To add to the amusement, my buyer did provide police info to Paypal, and *Paypal* requested that this info be sent to me, so I could send it back to paypal! They already have it! It\'s becoming Kafkaesque.
