Territorial behavior of bluegreen rufous hummingbird
This little guy was feeding near the top of a heliconia stalk when a rival showed up. He immediately switched from hovering to perching position and spread his wings in a threatening way. The rival flew back and forth behind him for a short period while the first guy kept an eye on him. The intruder decided to wait for awhile until the first guy moved on.
