This church was erected as a part of a Jesuit\'s college in the second half of the XVII century,converted later on into the university.It miraculously survived the 1945 demolition,where 85% of the city\'s buildings were totally destroyed.
The church has still all the XVII woodwork and paintings ,now being carefully renovated.

I especially appreciated that it survived \"The Easter Apocalypsis\" on April the 1st (Great Sunday) and the 2nd (Wet Monday),which original,German breslaures,call the hell on the Earth.Call doomsday.The day,when 720 Soviet military planes and more than a thousand of long range,heavy artillery units were shelling the city throughoutg 48 hours witout a stop.
