Question about Rx1... this one doesn\'t have a viewfinder built-in.

How good is this finder compared to Rx1R2? FDA-EVM1K Electronic Viewfinder

The internal of the RX1RII maybe a bit better and is much easier to use oc.

I think they have their pros and cons. I am still using the RX1 original. With an extra L-grip and the external viewfinder it has served me well for years now.
The viewfinder has yet to fall off. It is \"secured\" to the hot shoe by a rubber band. During these 3 and soon a half year I have replaced the rubber band once.
The external viewfinder works OK and you can tilt it! Good. It is bulky. Pity.
The RX1Rii viewfinder doesn\'t tilt and if you like to use a rubber eye cap the viewfinder can\'t get retracted again unless you un-mount the cap. Bulky. Pity. No flash. Pity again.

If I had more wealthy I would have bought the RX1Rii. In reality the RX1 works good enough. But heck, maybe I could get used to a viewfinder without a cap. I know I could get used to faster AF and slightly more mallable files.

As usual, anyone has to decide if it is worth the money. For most photographers it isn\'t about what we \"need\" these days.
