Re: Sony FE Images Thread

TY again for kind words, JaKo and others. Great shots, everybody
Nice shots from the same area, Guy.

I took the large camera bag:

I shoot alot with two bodies now, M9 and A7.mod. Less dust and lens changes. Usually I use the A7 for 50 and longer, M9 for 35 and shorter, though of course I break that rule from time to time. With A7 I used 50 cron, 75 and 90 Summarits, 135/3.4 and then my longer stuff, 180 ED, 300 and 500 nikkors.

Charles, it took me years to appreciate the 50 cron. What you show, and what few realize, is the lens is so good close. According to Puts it actually outperforms the 50 Lux ASPH at MFD. Yet that seems to take nothing away from incredible infinity performance at 5.6 +

The Moab area is really off the hook for all sorts of photography. The town itself is a great subject. If you like cars, there are all sorts of very interesting wheeled vehicles. Wide range of people. The nature has many \"looks\" and the flowers alone are really sweet. You see DSLRs everywhere, which means few bat an eye when you shoot.

You can fly in wearing a bathing suit, and rent anything you would ever need in Moab. A fully modified Jeep is around 200 a day. Of course I drove down with all my gear from Idaho.
