This photo started out as a \"grab shot\", taken through our balcony window when I noticed the male of our pair of nesting Chestnut Breasted Mannikins in the bushes outside. The 200-500VR was mounted on my D750 so I simply grabbed it and fired off a burst of three images before the bird took off. Not particularly impressed with my captures, I imported them into LRCC, did a little PP and decided to keep the image. When I posted it to my Flickr site I was amazed to have it invited to \"Flickr Explore\".... I was not sure I would even keep it!
