Dark when I got home with the new D500 but this is gobsmacking. Superb low noise and pin-sharp at 100%. Shot at home ;- D500 w. 200-500 @ 210mm - f5.6 - 1/400 - 40,000 ISO. SOOC, this is the full low-res jpg.
If all my 40,000 ISO shots come out like this then f5.6 is irrelevant and birding takes on a new perspective.
