no surprise, still cloudy in Chicago (and light rain this morning) - but forecast says a week of sun starting Tuesday.
for now, here\'s a few shots of my pool table.
85GM is @ f/1.7 (the honorary \'Fred Miranda\' aperture)
the Batis is @ f/1.8

i think this scene shows them being more similar than different (not a very busy background). the \'3\' ball and the \'13\' ball shots probably shows the biggest difference between the 2 lenses (see the bookshelves in the background, about 20 ft behind subject) and even that is a fairly subtle difference.

I\'d also point out that you definitely feel that you\'ve got the 85GM around your neck or in your hand and when switching back and forth, the Batis almost feels light. I\'ve switched to a sling to carry the GM, whereas I use a wrist strap for everything else.
