The description that it was damaged during shipping was new. When I received mine it was double boxed AND inside a padded case. That it was damaged during shipping showing a dented outer ring would be hard to believe but of course, it could not be ruled out. Hmm, it looks like the seller is also an FMer and he read my post here .
