Just out of curiosity and because I haven\'t used any standard zooms in what feels like ages, how does the GM stack up to other 24-70 2.8\'s like the version II of Canon\'s 24-70?
That\'s my question, how does it match up against the Canon. I though my Canon rendered a more pleasing image than my L primes. But to date, all the early testers haven\'t really looked at how the GM actually renders, especially on the wide-end at maximum aperture, there the Canon was beautiful. You mention the FE 1.8/55, that\'s my go-to Zeiss, a lovely lens, but I find its rendering a little harsh, hoping the zoom looks a little more subtle in those OOF transitions.
