The 2016 Death Valley Super Bloom


You know me and my wildflowers, I just cannot resist them! A super bloom in Death Valley is a very rare event - decades could pass before we see another one. So my friend and I rounded up a few subjects (one kid and one pregnant mama) and headed out to see what we could find. The lower elevation flowers were already done, but we found this amazing sea of golden flowers and it was just perfect! We had a very short shooting window but I\'m happy with what I got. If I can convince my husband, I may have to trek out there again with our own kids this weekend.

First up is Izzie - what a cute little girl! She was a lot of fun to work with!













Next up is Danielle - she is due around the same time as I am.
