Re: Sony FE Images Thread

Lovely portraits Gregg, the closeness and low angle almost make me feel like i was there as well

Its time for me to share something from Norway now. Its been too much Hong Kong lately. This image is actually one of my favourite captures with the A7. And the great thing about it is that it is taken from my balcony. If only every shot had been as easy as this!

It was taken on a very cold day in January. It was -17 degrees celsius (around 0-1 degrees fahrenheit) and I had been out most of the day walking on the fjord. It was probably safe, but I could still hear the ice making bouldering sounds due to the strong current from the water running beneath the icy. When I got home that day, it was probably around 4:45pm, the sun had just disappeared behind the mountains. I saw the brilliant blue sky outside, and run out on the balcony to get a quick shot of it.

The image is captured with Loxia 35. There seem to be a lot of forum members who don\'t get a long with this lens, but I have to admit that I have been in love with it from day one. Bokeh might be a bit nervous in some settings, but there are so many other positive things that can be said about the lens.
