The mask carnival in Venice is not always about the mysteriousness of folks of unknown age - some young or younger folks do not mind revealing their face, at least partly . it is all about fun of wearing costumes and being photographed, feeling like celebrities.
The woman in dark outfit wears special contact lenses to get that kind of look of her eyes. BTW, that image was captured using my favorite lens for that event, the FE 35mm f/1.4 at wide open. The last image was also captured at wide open using Batis 85mm.
