Whenever we see the sample pictures and high ISO from it, we will all be drooling.
Here\'s hoping because that\'s pretty much exactly what the 1DX was for me. I was on the fence about it too, but I caved and in use I\'d guess it increased my keeper/productivity in the 30-50% range per sports event in respect to technically acceptable images (moving subjects in focus). The jump from 10 to 12 fps made a fair difference in this, if you consider it provided ~20% more images per second, and with better AF tracking consistency, more of those were usably sharp. Now we\'re looking at 14fps with the mirror... could be a similar jump. When a player bursts through a seam for a half second before being tackled, it could mean an extra couple frames.
Good question about whether it has anti-flicker. That would be useful at times. I wonder how loud it is. Mirror flapping like that... But from the photos I see my desire for a slimmed down design won\'t be realized, again...
Prism design doesn\'t bother me other than the extra edges will mean faster paint wear up there. Kind of looks a bit like a mohawk.
Vertical grip thumb rest appears to be recontoured, possibly for the better. AF-ON buttons seem slightly smaller, but hopefully easy to use with gloves on.
