I really like the vertical and the width. Only the bottom 10% of the image doesn\'t contribute. I disagree that a horizontal of the top half would be a better shot. You be focused on the \'action\' per we, but would lose the incredible leading lines of the ridge leading to the butte. It\'s rare to get such naturally perfect leading lines with a background like this. It\'s great that you took advantage of it.
I agree with a crop but a 4x5 crop would lose too much of the bottom to where you\'d lose a bit of the sense of place. I\'d do a 4x3 crop just to lose the very bottom of the frame.
It\'s an absolutely stunning image.
