I don\'t usually get excited about the usual incremental camera upgrades, but this looks to be a great offering! Just ordered mine with grip a couple hours ago! Can\'t wait to put it through it\'s paces on migrating waterfowl in March!

Interestingly, a few Nikon pros having been field testing this little beast for a while. It will good reading as their reviews are published shortly.
A very successful D300 user friend of mine was headed the D810 way until I advised him to hold off last month as a little sleuthing added up to a new DX from Nikon. He\'s ordered up a D500 as well.
