Phillip, just noticed you have a new camera (?)... your glorious A7 is definitely dead? Why you chose A7M2 instead A7RM2? Less problems with older lenses?

My a7 is still at the repair center in Austria. Because I can\'t work on my blog without a camera I bought a refurbished a7ii from Amazon.de for a very good price. I can sell it without a loss when my a7 returns.
I like the more solid mount and IBIS is a nice feature but even if I sold my a7 the upgrade would cost me about 700€ and I don\'t see that it is worth that much to me. After all the IBIS will only make a difference in a small fraction of my images. Another argument is that cameras lose their value very quickly (about 30% every year) while my manual lenses don\'t lose any value.
The a7ii is certainly a very good camera, better than my a7. And the a7rII is even better (except the soft preview image at 5x magnification). But I am still a student and I think my money is better spent on lenses and other non-photographic things so I will sell the a7ii in two weeks, I already have a buyer
