What is an interstellar nebulae made of if not waste? A fine example of what our universe does with waste products. It recycles! New stars are born and quite possibly proto-planets as well.
This was taken from my back yard with my AT65EDQ 65mm f/6.5 ED quadruplet astrograph and 1Dx, over a metro area of more than 2 million people. (Between 8&9 on the Bortle scale).
