I loved the original RX1 but thought it was expensive for what it offered. And that was before Sony announced cameras with a similar sensor and interchangeable lenses.

With the price for this baby, which is undoubtedly another beauty, they\'re apparently starting to think like Leica.

Because I can\'t find another reason why this camera should be more expensive than the A7R II. I\'m sure they would point to the included lens as a bonus, while in reality it\'s a weakness for all but those who only want this specific lens.

This line of thinking confuses me. Rx1r2 has all the tech you might need (except ibis, which is not so vital for 35mm) plus sort of the best lens around. So i can see why it\'s priced on par with A7r2. If you don\'t like the concept of fixed lens camera, you have choices and you should be happy with them. But i see to many people not appreciating Rx1 for what it is and trying to make something else of it - and when you put all of those suggestions together you end up with A7r2 or something like it. Leave rx1 alone! It was good for what it was and now it well be even better. And that\'s great. I too think it;s expensive, as is A7r2, but it\'s not out of this world with its price.
