Awesome. I think I\'m going to plan a trip up to highway 17(?) which goes through Chama, NM and Antonito, CO. I want to catch the Cumbres-Toltec train (shooting it, not riding it) while colors were out, but I haven\'t gone up there yet and checked it all out, as it\'s 3 hours away.
Seeing your photos makes me believe there will be some color up there when I drive (probably take a day off of work to do it).
Cumbers Pass (Highway 17) is one of my favorite rides. Usually, the fall colors are fantastic along that route. There are very few places along the highway where the train crosses so it could be difficult to shoot the train in route, but not impossible.
