Haha...Frodo has his boring \"ring of power\", but the Otus is my precious (spoken in Smeagol voice).
Thanks everyone for the congrats - I am just 2-4 weeks away from the start of my extra-early retirement from my \"day job\" so I can shoot full time (for fun and profit) and hang out here more often. The a7R II was that last gear addition I needed to make. Now I\'m all set. Woohoo, cannot wait!
, you and Philippe are the Otus users that post here and that I know off hand right now. I am sure there more. BTW, my spellcheck tried to correct that word to Otis . I just saw an Otus 55mm offered on the local Craigslist. Tempted but I am not much of MF guy anymore. And that reminds me that I still have my Leica-M glasses, too .
It sounds like you are looking forward to your retirement. I have been for a few years now and never been bored. There are so many things to do, I mean, to take pictures of. We do travel quite a bit and I spend a lot of time at the computer post processing or just simply on-line to my wife\'s chagrin.......

Excellent B&W images, René. I was in Malaga recently, too. The second image appears to be fairly close to Pablo Picasso\'s birth house or the current location of the Picasso foundation/museum, no?
