Single-shot AF has been better on mirrorless for quite a while. Even my crusty GX1 could pretty much meet or beat any DSLR I\'ve ever used (including D800 and 5D3) in single-shot, unless I had mounted a really slow lens on the GX1.
No god-forsaken micro-afing, just see it and shoot it. Eye detect makes it even more awesome.
Now AF-C, that\'s a different story, but mirrorless is catching up -- very quickly.
