Finally, I made it back home last night after being away for 6 weeks. I spent some time in Greece, Spain, and Portugal. Actually, we also stayed in Holland as my European hub (went back and forth like 4 times) but I didn\'t go out to take pictures there... . I wished I did but it was simply too hectic and we needed time to recover from the previous trip and to prepare for the next one. Two bodies, A7 II and A7s, 4 native FE lenses, 28mm f/2.0, 55mm f/1.8, 16-35 f/4.0 and 70-200mm f/4. The setup was not really light and/or compact and not too bad. Even at my age, I didn\'t have any problems carrying that gear setup during the entire trip . And I am pleased with the setup and not only did it deliver and it did so without any glitch. The A7s excelled in low light during certain events.

Tons of great images were posted on this thread but I couldn\'t pull up the pages while away since the internet connection wasn\'t that good at all. I missed the turn to 1,000th page and missed the availability of the A7r II while I was gone . I setup the delivery of the new camera to coincide with the first day of my return home and indeed, B&H came through. It is on the UPS truck now for today\'s delivery .

The last images I posted were from Meteora, Greece in the first week of the trip. Here are two images from Madrid, Spain taken on the first day/night. I wanted to post more but for whatever reasons I couldn\'t although I shrank down the files significantly..... Hmm, it seems to work now .

Welcome back Joshua! I think I can say, you missed us
Impatient to see your work...
Manuel

Hi Manuel,
Thank you! Yes, I missed you guys on that trip alright but the internet connection was only so so even at the fastest spots. The thread has tons of images (duh!) and there were times the pages simply didn\'t load at all.

Except for Greece, the trip was mostly a guide tour and it wasn\'t photographically oriented although I managed to do so at various occasions. I will start posting selected images later as I am still working on them as we speak.

Joshua
